Jessie Ong
Founder and Principal Instructor
Pilates | OOV | Gyrotonic | Franklin Method | CoreAlign | EBFA Barefoot | Pre- & Post-Natal
Why Pilates?
Pilates gave Jessie back her life and well-being. So she’s giving back.
An architect-turned-pilates instructor, Jessie took to pilates to alleviate persistent back and neck pain as a young adult. It eventually changed her posture, life and career, which is why she founded Mind.Body.Movement.
Her expertise covers pilates across all equipment including Oov Pilates to promote spine movement. She offers specialised programme for pre- and post-natal movement, scoliosis management, pain management and rehabilitation (disc herniation, frozen shoulder, neck pain, knee replacement, ankle and foot injuries). She has worked with gymnasts, golfers, runners and athletes. Most of all, she likes working with teens and adults with back, spinal and posture problems.
Jessie taught Pilates for 10 years before opening Mind.Body.Movement. A highly-qualified Pilates instructor, she received her pilates certification from Polestar Pilates, which uses scientific, physiology principles to promote recuperation, movement and well-being. She is also on the education team for Oov and Franklin Method.
Which all makes for a really nice story. Jessie is giving back what Pilates has given to her.
